Managing Forwarders

The Forwarder Library is your organization's directory of freight forwarders — the companies you ask for shipping quotes. Saving a forwarder once means you can add it to any quote request without re-typing its details. The directory is shared across your whole organization.

Open it from Forwarders (🏢) in the left sidebar.

The Forwarders Page

The page has two tabs:

  • Forwarders — your directory of forwarder contacts, where you add, edit, and remove them.
  • Past Offers — the history of quote requests you've already sent. See Past Offers.

This page covers the Forwarders tab. A search box at the top filters the list by company, contact name, or email.

Adding a Forwarder

  1. On the Forwarders tab, click New Forwarder
  2. Fill in the form:
    • Company — the forwarder's company name (required)
    • Contact name — your contact person there (required)
    • Email — the address quote requests are sent to (required)
    • Phone — optional
    • Country (ISO-2) — optional two-letter country code (e.g. TR, DE, US)
    • Notes — optional free text for anything you want to remember about them
  3. Click Save

The forwarder now appears in your directory and is available to select whenever you send a quote.

The Email address is where quote requests are delivered, so make sure it's the inbox the forwarder actually watches for rate requests.

Editing a Forwarder

Click any forwarder in the list to open its details, change any field, and click Save. Edits apply everywhere the forwarder is used.

Removing a Forwarder

To remove a forwarder, open it and choose to delete it.

Deleting a forwarder is a soft delete — it disappears from your directory and can no longer be selected for new quotes, but it still appears in your Past Offers history. Quote requests you sent to that forwarder keep showing its company and email, so your records stay intact.

How Many Forwarders You Can Save

The number of forwarders you can keep in your directory depends on your plan:

PlanForwarders
Free5
Pro50
Business and aboveUnlimited

If you reach your limit, remove a forwarder you no longer use or upgrade your plan. See Plan Limits for the full list of what each plan includes.
