Export Overview

Every completed load plan in LOP can be exported as a professional document or data file for use outside the platform. Exports are designed to communicate loading instructions clearly to warehouse teams, provide compliance records for customs and freight documentation, and integrate with your existing logistics systems.

Export Formats

LOP supports three export formats, each suited to a different purpose:

PDF Load Plan Report

A complete, professionally formatted document intended for printing and handoff to loading teams, customers, or compliance records.

The PDF includes a cover page, summary statistics, 3D diagram views from multiple angles, a full packing list table, a loading sequence ordered back-to-front and bottom-to-top, and compliance notes covering weight balance, lashing requirements, and any constraint warnings.

Best for: loading team instructions, customer handoffs, audit records, customs documentation

Excel Workbook

A structured multi-sheet spreadsheet designed for data analysis and integration with warehouse management and ERP systems.

The workbook contains four sheets: Summary (container stats, fill rates, scores), Packing List (item positions and rotations), Compliance (violations and warnings), and Loading Sequence (ordered by load step).

Best for: WMS integration, data analysis, internal reporting, linking to order management workflows

CSV Packing List

A simple, flat CSV file with one row per item placement. Contains the minimal set of columns needed to identify each item, its position in the container, and its loading status.

Best for: system integration, data piping to custom tools, quick data extraction

Triggering an Export

Exports can be triggered from two places:

From the editor toolbar:

  1. Open a load plan in the editor
  2. Click the Export button in the top toolbar (or press Ctrl+E)
  3. Select the export format from the dropdown
  4. Configure export options (for PDF)
  5. Click Generate — the file downloads automatically

From the plan list:

  1. In the Load Plans page, find the plan
  2. Click the three-dot menu on the plan card
  3. Select Export → [format]

Exports reflect the current state of the plan. If you have made manual edits since the last optimization run, we recommend running Validate (from the toolbar) before exporting to confirm there are no constraint violations in the current placement.

Multi-Container Plans

For plans with multiple containers, each export format handles multi-container data as follows:

  • PDF — one section per container, each with its own diagram views and packing list
  • Excel — the Packing List and Loading Sequence sheets include a Container column
  • CSV — a Container column identifies which container each item is in

Export Language

By default, exports are generated in your account's configured language (English or Turkish). To change the export language, go to Settings → Preferences → Export Language.

You can also override the export language per-export in the PDF export options dialog.

Accessibility of Exports

All export formats are available on all paid plans. Free plan users can generate exports for plans they have already created, but new plan creation is subject to the free tier limits.
